Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
- Necessary Skills:
- Ability to administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
- Ability to act as lead therapist when assigned for all areas.
- When acting as a lead therapist, be able to provide NICU patient care (i.e., ventilator and Oxygen assessment).
- Necessary Licensure/Certifications:
- Current State licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the Department of Health and State of Florida;
- Current BLS certification.
- Required Experience: Less than one (1) year - Critical care for ventilator management.
- PREFERRED Experience: Three (3) or more years previous Respiratory Therapist experience in a major health care facility.
