About the role
The Registered Respiratory Therapist Learning and Development Coordinator is a registered respiratory therapist with demonstrated clinical and management skills. This position is accountable and responsible for maintaining the standards of care, coordinating operations, and supervising personnel in the Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate timely patient care by working collaboratively with physicians, shift directors, and admission resource managers.
- Staff and schedule changes after the schedule is posted.
- Ensure adherence to process improvement and service excellence improvement initiatives.
- Implement the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practice, and standards of the organization, and respiratory therapy services within the Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- A BS in respiratory therapy, management, or health care is required.
- Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Maryland.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in direct patient care.
- Previous experience in perinatal and adult critical care.
- Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated leadership experience is required.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program. A BS in respiratory therapy, management, or health care is required. Must be a Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Maryland. Minimum of three (3) years experience in direct patient care. Previous experience in perinatal and adult critical care. Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated leadership experience is required.

Pay
Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
