Theatre Arts - Adjunct
About the role
The Department of Theatre Arts invites applications for adjunct faculty in Theatre. This position offers a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Beginning Acting for majors and non-majors.
- Coach/train students in contemporary acting techniques.
- Teach evening classes as needed.
Requirements
- Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval).
- Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience in higher education teaching preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching acting and/or experience in professional acting.
Skills
- Ability to provide a learning environment that supports student success.
