Theatre Arts - Adjunct

About the role

The Department of Theatre Arts invites applications for adjunct faculty in Theatre. This position offers a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Beginning Acting for majors and non-majors.
• Coach/train students in contemporary acting techniques.
• Teach evening classes as needed.

Requirements

• Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval).
• Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience in higher education teaching preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching acting and/or experience in professional acting.

Skills

• Ability to provide a learning environment that supports student success.
