We are seeking a results-driven Theater Teacher to join our dynamic community of educators. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for theater and a commitment to education.

Responsibilities

• Build a classroom culture where scholars develop a love of theater
• Collaborate with Theater Teachers across the network to build a world-class theater program
• Engage in training with school leaders and benefit from targeted, in-the-moment feedback on instruction
• Design and execute professional-quality performance opportunities for all scholars

Requirements

• Achieved outstanding academic results
• Professional training in a rigorous theater program or extensive professional performance credit
• A passion about theater and learning, and for working with children and implementing effective theater instruction
• Set ambitious goals for yourself and others, and are not afraid of putting in the hard work it takes to achieve them
• Confidence and presence - enjoy taking the lead and inspiring others with your passion and commitment
• Enjoy collaborating with others (e.g., playing on an athletics team, or in a band or orchestra)
• Have or will receive a Bachelor’s degree prior to your start date
