About the role
Assist in the daily responsibilities of table games operations.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
- Monitor the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
- Oversee and maintain the integrity of Table Games activity.
- Approve and oversee count table inventory at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Facilitate replenishment of chips.
- Supervise issuance of cards.
- Instruct personnel on table assignment.
- Ensure application and/or compliance of federal currency reporting requirements.
- Handle minor guest complaints.
- Assist Shift Manager with gaming operations.
- Perform duties assigned by Shift Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise dealers.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Provide input on performance appraisals; reward and discipline employees per approved casino policies.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in card room operations, including experience as a dealer and/or Floor Supervisor.
- Ability to differentiate chip color and appropriate values of each.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Gaming experience required.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
- Stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
- Work in a smoke-filled environment.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment, escalating in the casino environment.
- Grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
- Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
