About the Role

Assist in the daily responsibilities of table games operations.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of Table Games activity.
  • Approve and oversee count table inventory at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Facilitate replenishment of chips.
  • Supervise issuance of cards.
  • Instruct personnel on table assignments.
  • Ensure application and/or compliance of federal currency reporting requirements.
  • Handle minor guest complaints.
  • Assist Shift Manager with gaming operations and perform duties assigned by the Shift Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise dealers.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work; provide input on performance appraisals.
  • Reward and discipline employees per approved casino policies.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in card room operations, including experience as a dealer and/or Floor Supervisor.
  • Ability to differentiate chip color and appropriate values of each.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Gaming experience required.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

  • Stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
  • Work in a smoke-filled environment.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment, escalating in the casino environment.
  • Grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
