About the Role
To sort, hang, and tag donated merchandise while meeting GICMH production standards.
Responsibilities
- Continually serve as a positive role model for all employees, participants, and customers working with and for Goodwill Industries
- Sort through donated goods while determining quality textile and bin to hang and seasonal merchandise to store
- Continually hang and tag textile and maintain a level of processing performance of at least 80 pieces per hour with no more than 5% bale
- Correctly label carts and Gaylords as SEASONAL or BALE, or as directed
- Assist the Production Supervisor with shipping and receiving between locations
- Transfer Z-Racks, carts, and Gaylords to the appropriate staging area within the processing area
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by following safety procedures and reporting injuries and safety hazards
- Maintain good housekeeping skills, including sweeping and cleaning the work area at the end of the shift
- Perform 5-Minute Drills at workstations
