About the role
As a Textile Materials Developer, you will help address material challenges or digital transformation gaps in clothing and footwear, bringing your expertise in textile properties, testing, and industry standards to create innovative, high-quality solutions that meet rigorous performance and quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Help address material challenges or digital transformation gaps in clothing and footwear
- Create innovative, high-quality solutions that meet rigorous performance and quality benchmarks
- Work closely with team members to gain quantitative insights from current processes, propose enhancements, and implement solutions
- Tackle challenges in organizational clothing and individual equipment
Requirements
- Experience with industry trends and advancements in automated manufacturing processes
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems for managing product design and development
- Experience with technical product creation, including engineering, materials, manufacturing methods, and product testing
- Experience implementing design for manufacturability practices in direct collaboration with tier 1 and 2 manufacturers
- Translate client requirements to textile products
- Think strategically and make decisions grounded in technical depth
- Obtain a Secret clearance
