Testing Technician

About the role

The Testing Technician will execute sample preparation prior to the conformance evaluation of bulk polysilicon, surface polysilicon, and chemicals. This role supports teams, processes, and priorities that keep operations running effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operating instruments like Photoluminescence, FTIR, GC, Agilent 7900s ICP-MS, and Perkin Elmer DRC-ICP-MS.
• Preparing samples for analysis.
• Calibrating and Quality Verification
• Maintaining calibration standards and analytical solutions.
• Fault tree protocols for re-testing and verification.
• Entering data into the LIMS system.
• Cleaning analytical labware.
• Managing acids, distillers, and stock rotation.
• Performing tests according to ISO standards and documenting for ISO compliance.
• Adhering to IATF requirements.
• Troubleshooting various lab equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working in an industrial laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate complex laboratory instruments.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
• Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.

Pay

The range for this position is $24/hr - 30/hr assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education.
