Duties And Responsibilities
- Administers the test of adult basic education (TABE) to students to determine their initial, interim, and final reading and math performance achievement levels and learning gains.
- Determines the results of TABE test as satisfactory or unsatisfactory based on Center and DOL procedures and criteria.
- Compiles and distributes a list of each student’s test results to appropriate department heads.
- Maintains all required records and test results on students.
- SUBMIT WEEKLY ACTIVITY REPORTS TO THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING DIRECTOR.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- One year of work-related experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of test administration and evaluation with some instructional techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Position requires an ability to operate office equipment
- An individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments

Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
