Testing Center Proctor

About the role

The Testing Center Proctor will be working at the Utah State University Uintah Basin campus in Roosevelt, UT. Hours are varied depending on need and will be scheduled anywhere between 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday, and other times as assigned. Hours will be up to 28 hours per week and may change each semester. Enrolled USU students are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all proctoring policies and procedures, especially as directed by the UB Testing Center Coordinator, instructors, USU Testing Website instructions, and any non-USU testing entities.
• Ensure integrity of all testing in classrooms and testing centers.
• Maintain accurate testing and equipment logs.
• Assist students, staff and faculty by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of connect classes.
• Provide assistance in the Classroom Services office, when necessary.
• Field any testing procedure questions from students, instructors, staff and public.
• Communicate and work with other statewide test proctors via SLACK and email.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work sites and be punctual

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates who have previous college education and understand the relationship between students and instructors.

• Position requires knowledge of computers, use of email, and willingness to learn simple technology skills.

Pay

$13.50/hour
