About the role
We are looking for a Test Technician who epitomizes technical and operational excellence. In this role, you will work on multiple projects, demonstrating strong troubleshooting, testing, and validation skills. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing of PCBAs using established test procedures and equipment.
- Perform detailed inspections and measurements to ensure PCBAs meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, failures, and corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Aid in the development and improvement of test procedures, methodologies, and test fixtures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new testing techniques, and emerging technologies relevant to PCBA testing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Test Technician or similar role, with a focus on PCBA testing.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and function generators.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and datasheets.
- Knowledge of industry standards and quality control processes related to PCBA testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with ESD precautions and safe handling of electronic components.

Pay
The hourly range for this role is $18-$24 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
