About the role
Support medical device testing within the Therapy Delivery Systems Test Development team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, and fatigue tests to verify product conformance.
- Accurately report and communicate test data.
- Support validation activities, including test method and equipment validation.
- Develop and document test methods.
- Fabricate designs and select appropriate testing equipment.
- Identify process improvements.
- Manage lab equipment maintenance and calibration.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years technician experience.
- Vocational or technical certification.
Skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented.
- Effective communicator with good time management.
- Self-motivated and collaborative.
- Capable of interpreting test results and following general instructions.
- Focus on quality and process improvement.
Nice to have
- Associate degree.
- Laboratory/test experience.
- Knowledge of scientific techniques.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Mechanical/electrical skills.
- Proficiency with test machines (Instron, MTS), Microsoft Office, microscopes, and X-ray equipment.
