Test Technician (GL6)

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and fix sustaining production test issues that need to be escalated from Repair Technicians and report to Test Engineers.
• Troubleshoot and repair fixtures.
• Monitor and maintain testing station performance.
• Create standard operating procedures for operators and testers for manufacturing test.
• Document testing procedures and update SOPs for testing operations.
• Help create and maintain records for issues and failures faced as part of test.
• Aid Test Engineers with test station setup and other processes including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs.

Requirements

• 0-2 years’ minimum experience in printed circuit board assembly processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX.
• Experience with computer hardware like CPUs, NIC, and Memory etc.
• Familiar with electrical components.

Qualifications

• Ability to read test logs.
• Some experience with computer hardware like CPUs, NIC, and Memory etc.
• Experience with schematic and diagram.

Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX.
• Ability to work with switches network equipment etc.
• Ability to read test logs.
• Ability to identify colors.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Depth perception.
• The ability to adjust focus.
