Job Purpose A CNH Precision Technology Test Technician evaluates our upcoming precision technology products to ensure their excellence. The technician will test technology in lab and simulator settings and especially on vehicles in test field or real farm environments collecting detailed data for the product development teams to use for improvement. This will involve occassional travel to support trade shows or collect data at remote or customer sites. Key Responsibilities Design and execution of precision technology testing activities especially on tractors, combines, self-propelled sprayers and spreaders and other agricultural equipmentRigorous collecdtion of data and results from testsLight analysis of results to optimize testing procedure sand provide first-look feedbackClear write-ups and descriptions to product development teams with both objective and subjective feedbackSafe and professional operation of heavy equipment with adherence to site regulations and proceduresInstallation, configuration, and optimization of precision technologyEquipment maintenanceOccassional travel to customer and other sites for special customer support or data collection activities Experience Required At least four years of experience operating farming equipment.Associates degree or Bachelors degree in relevant fields (agriculture, engineering, software) Preferred Qualifications Aptitudes A passion for enabling farmersExcitement about technologyCan-Do AttitudeAttention to detail, ability to measure and speak to results precisely Farming Experience Extensive experience operating farming equipment and use of a variety of implementsExpertise on local and regional farming practices; familiarity with farming practices in other regions and countriesComfortable using precision technology in agriculture Technology Skills Experience with GNSS and automatic guidance technologiesFamiliarity with ISO-based implementsUse of wireless communication technologies (radio, satellite, cellular)Familiarity with at least one precision technology displayMobile or web-based agronomy and farming logisticsAnalysis of log files Mechanical Skills Design and fabrication of simple test fixturesMechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair Interpersonal Skills Comfortable representing the company in front of customersExcellent communication and collaborationThrives as part of a team Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $63,750.00 - $97,750.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
