The team focuses on prototyping, test development, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting to ensure producibility and quality.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support product verification and validation activities, including hands-on testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform engineering decisions.
- Design, fabricate, assemble, and maintain test fixtures, prototypes, and modified assemblies to generate development, standardization, and quality control data.
- Troubleshoot product and process issues on the shop floor and recommend design or manufacturing changes to improve producibility and reliability.
- Program, calibrate, and maintain test equipment to ensure reliable test operations.
- Produce clear technical documentation: test procedures, numerical and graphical test results, change recommendations, BOM/route reviews, and training materials for production staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree (or equivalent certificate) in engineering technology, electronics, mechanical technology, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6 months to 3 years of related hands-on experience in electrical testing, prototyping, production support, or electronic/mechanical assembly.

- Able to document procedures and results clearly (written reports, spreadsheets) and communicate findings effectively to engineers and production teams.
Qualifications
- Experience performing DWV (Dielectric Withstand), IR (Insulation Resistance), and resistance testing using Cirris cable testers, hipot testers, and digital ohmmeters for production testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience programming and maintaining Cirris test systems, including updating test software, troubleshooting test failures, and maintaining test fixtures to support production.
