Test Technician

Quality Assurance$60k–$75k/yrFull-time

Responsibilities

  • Test evaluation, set-up and performance
  • Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
  • Test data reporting and plotting
  • Equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing
  • Perform testing in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications
  • Generate test data to support customer requirements
  • Occasional heavy lifting (25 lbs.) and overtime may be required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills
  • Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred
  • Exposure to instrumentation/equipment such as pressure transducers, multimeters, milliohmeters, hipot testers, pulse generators, voltage and current supplies, oscilloscopes (DAQs), temperature chambers, Instron tensile testers, and Watlow F4/F4T programming

Desired Skills

  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
  • Intron Tensile tester programming (Bluehill Universal Software)
  • Watlow F4 and F4T programming

Pay

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
