Responsibilities
- Demonstrate product functionality to pre-defined test criteria.
- Utilize various test equipment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and properly utilize all PPE.
- Aid in the connection and energizing of final product with low, medium, and high voltage.
- Complete standard system Factory Acceptance Test [FAT] testing.
- Perform required preventative maintenance of electrical testing equipment and systems.
- Perform wiring, cable prepping, and assembling as per the wiring diagrams.
- Read and understand related drawings including assembly drawings, bill of materials, and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot with assistance from EET-II and EET-III utilizing test results, schematics, and drawings.
- Perform in-process inspection on product during assembly process.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area by utilizing 5S practices and participating in Lean initiatives.
- Support assembly of the various systems and sub-assembly products.
- Lift and position products to precise locations using overhead cranes and other material handling devices (e.g., power jack, fork truck).
- Move/position product as required.
- May be required to perform other duties in multiple buildings as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
- Experience utilizing hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform responsibilities from engineered drawings, wiring schematics, and bill of materials.
- Safely utilize ladders and scaffolding to work at heights above waist level.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced math and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced computer skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, High Potential Tester, Digital Multi-Meter, and Clamp-on Current Transformers.
- Ability to read and understand related drawings including assembly drawings, bill of materials, and test procedures.
- Experience with wiring diagrams and bill of materials.
- Experience with overhead cranes and other material handling devices.
Skills
- Test equipment knowledge specifically but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, High Potential Tester, Digital Multi-Meter, and Clamp-on Current Transformers.
- Ability to perform responsibilities from engineered drawings, wiring schematics, and bill of materials.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.76 to $28.55. The shift differential for working second shift is $2.50. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

About the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Test Technician I (1st Shift) to join our team at Innomotics. Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00AM-3:00PM; Friday 6:00AM to 10:00AM.
