About the role

We currently have openings for 1st and 2nd Shift Test Technicians in our Clarksburg, MD campus. Test Technicians will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing.

  • First shift hours are 5:00 am – 2:30 pm.
  • Second shift hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am.
  • Second shift candidates must be able to train on first shift for up to 4 weeks before transferring to second shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform board and unit level testing per test procedures with minimum supervision.
  • Properly connect test equipment.
  • Keep team lead informed of stack and product issues.
  • Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
  • Run most tests in factory.
  • Support Environmental Stress Testing (ESS) with minimum supervision.
  • Work safely with high voltage and high power transmitters.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area and be compliant with ESD and FOD policies.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required; applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications – fluent in English.
  • 2-year Electronic degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of electronics terminology and application (e.g., Volts, Amps, Ohms, Phase, Modulation, dBm, dBc, Intermodulation).
  • Familiar with AC, DC, RF test and measurement equipment operation.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook; SAP S/4/Hana preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance.
  • Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this role is $22.62 – $28.90 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. Once training on 1st shift is successfully completed, 2nd shift employees will transition to 2nd shift and become eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.

Schedule
