Test Technician, 2nd Shift

About the role
The Test Technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, line maintenance, and/or chemical handling. This is an onsite role in our Forest, MS facility.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one.
Responsibilities
- Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
- Observes, analyzes, and reports test data; makes necessary repairs to equipment when appropriate.
- Works closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings.
- Isolates problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolves as necessary.
- Validates the correctness of procedures.
- Selects, sets up, and operates engineering and scientific equipment.
- Effectively communicates technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s).
- Interprets test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail condition and determine when further analysis is needed.
- Works independently to complete production/acceptance tests, interpret pass/fail data, and achieve production goals.
- Performs tasks that may require lifting, walking, and stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s).
Requirements
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience testing electronic circuits and identifying failure trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications or power systems.
- Experience with RF System and subsystem (Transmitter, Receiver, Antenna, Signal/Data Processor, Power Supply) evaluation.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 39,100 USD - 74,300 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
