Test Tech III

About the role

The Test Technician III position supports our Weekend Night Shift, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3 PM to 3 AM. This role works 36 hours and is compensated for 40 hours with a 10% pay premium.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot assembly configurations.
• Conduct environmental stress screening tests of production assemblies and units according to procedures and standards.
• Modify test configurations by adding, removing, or altering modules as required.
• Replace modules as directed by Engineering using hand tools and various measuring and testing devices.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and other control procedures.
• Diagnose minor deficiencies in equipment and recommend rework where necessary.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and follow complex test specifications and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with test electronic and electro-mechanical units using standard and RF test equipment.
• Ability to analyze results to evaluate performance and determine adjustments.
• Knowledge of electronic theory and components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose failures using electronic test equipment and software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $57,319 - $91,710. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications.
