Responsibilities

  • Supports the Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions, executing test qualification of fixtures and programs according to the system qualification process.
  • Provides deliverables to support test solutions in production for both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Assists in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling to meet customer expectations.
  • Serves as the interface to the Test Support function, providing comprehensive documentation and training for all implemented test solutions.
  • Acts as the interface to the Manufacturing function, coordinating training and education for all implemented test operations.
  • Monitors and contributes to improvements in Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies, and Uptime, providing accurate reporting and clear targets for improvement.
  • Collaborates with the Test Engineer to consistently upgrade the test process, balancing cost, coverage, and efficiency for an optimized and cost-effective solution.
  • Works closely with manufacturing and test support to prioritize support activities.
  • Coordinates the timetable for test readiness based on the weekly production schedule through appropriate Test Support staff.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including Windows-based operating systems and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read/understand visual aids.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.
