Role Responsibilities
- Work with team to design new systems for production / lab use.
- Generate system documentation to define the design of the system, including bills of materials, electrical schematics, layout drawings, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Procure components and materials for new systems.
- Construct new systems and lead the installation of the systems in their final designated area.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and deployment of new systems.
- Train staff on the utilization and support / maintenance of new systems.
- Assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with electrical control systems, metering equipment, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and generate electrical schematics and facility drawings.
- Computer skills including CAD, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-7 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Programming experience (PLC’s, Python, LabVIEW, etc.).
- Familiarity with SolidWorks.
