About the Role

As a System Test Engineer Senior on an Enterprise Zero Trust Program for a DoW client, your responsibilities will include:

• Review system requirements, security requirements, and design documentation to identify testable components and create traceability.
• Defining test scope, identifying test cases, and establishing test methodologies.
• Creating comprehensive testing documentation to ensure thorough and consistent testing.
• Determining the most critical areas for testing and focus resources accordingly. Execute system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-focused systems and services.
• Document test results, maintain test evidence, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards.
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in system testing, software testing, or integration testing in an enterprise or government environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in the development and execution of test procedures and test scripts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document test results and findings.

Requirements

• Required Skills/Knowledge: Experience troubleshooting at the system level (hardware and software).
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Strong understanding of system, integration, and functional testing practices.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills/Knowledge

• Experience with DoW acceptance testing requirements for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles such as least privilege, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Pay

Contract Pay Rate: $50 - $53 per hour
Conversion Salary: $100,000 Annually
