North Point Technology is looking to hire a Test Engineer to join a program supporting an Intelligence Community customer building geospatial intelligence capabilities that enable critical national security missions. Working within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team alongside software engineers, product managers, and mission experts, this role is central to ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing software. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination is required. Responsibilities: The Test Engineer will lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints, designing and maintaining both automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities. This role involves daily collaboration with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality is built into every release. The engineer will perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing; validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability; and identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution. Additional responsibilities include integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipeline deployment workflows, analyzing test results, communicating risks, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance Agile team effectiveness.
