Test Engineer I

About the Role

Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work links perceived social needs and commercial applications. Responsibilities include designing products and machinery, implementing improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, developing new materials, and analyzing the impact of products or systems on the environment and users. Additionally, engineers may work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production, determining causes of breakdowns, testing manufactured products, and estimating project time and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and report operational tests.
• Analyze and report on the test results of side scan sonar Automated Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms used on unmanned underwater vehicles.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience designing, executing, and reporting operational tests.
• 2 years of experience analyzing and reporting on the test results of side scan sonar Automated Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms used on unmanned underwater vehicles.
• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Active Secret security clearance.
