Test Engineer

We are committed to teamwork and collaboration, and we are excited to welcome multiple System Test Engineers to our GMASS team in Colorado Springs, CO. The team provides maintenance and sustainment services for 6 Ground Based Radars, including upgrades and modernizations.

Responsibilities

• Work with the GMASS program to develop and implement modernization efforts within specified performance, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, software, and hardware teams to ensure continued operational capability and seamless integration of new technologies.
• Design, develop, and execute tests to ensure radar systems meet quality standards and meet warfighter expectations.
• Create and maintain test plans, descriptions, scripts, procedures, and reports, and analyze test results to recommend changes.
• Manage testing activities, including planning, scheduling, and equipment coordination.
• Develop and document technical specifications and procedures for testing.
• Maintain records of testing activities and results.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for testing activities.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in test engineering or related fields, with 4+ years of full-time professional experience.
• Experience with system requirement elicitation, definition, and functional allocation to HW and SW segments and components.
• Proficiency in developing technical specifications and analyzing HW configurations and SW solutions to propose new system-level requirements.
• Experience in performing integration and formal test analysis and documenting test results for selloff of requirements.
• Experience supporting Test and Evaluation at the system level, including strategic, space, and missile warning missions.
• Experience with Combatant Command, Service-Level, and acquisition directorates.
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
