Test Engineer 265

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Test Engineer to perform GEOINT quality risk analysis, test planning, and test performance of GEOINT data, systems, applications, and services. The role includes providing technical and process leadership to the GEOINT Quality team, developing automated testing frameworks, and advancing GEOINT test modernization goals through collaborative efforts with enterprise test directors, image quality scientists, and development teams. The position also involves expert technical consultancy on architecture, infrastructure, and software development operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform GEOINT quality risk analysis, test planning, and test execution for data, systems, applications, and services.
• Provide leadership to the GEOINT Quality team, ensuring the adoption of standard test practices and knowledge.
• Develop and implement web-based workflow tools and automated testing frameworks, including test automation and business process capabilities.
• Align automation strategy with team members and collaborate with enterprise test directors, image quality scientists, and development teams.
• Design, execute, and report results of GEOINT quality and functional tests, including developing collection plans and adapting test strategies.
• Support test automation, test-driven development, and improvements to test processes and procedures.
• Apply manual test cases and automation scripts to address GEOINT quality risks.
• Support modernization efforts for the GEOINT quality test mission, including cloud development processes.
• Ensure the realization of verification and test requirements into system solutions (e.g., test scenarios, test plans, defect tracking).
• Provide technical consultancy on architecture, infrastructure, and software development operations, maintenance, and modernization.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 10 years of experience as a GEOINT Test Engineer on programs or projects.
• Experience conducting analysis, test planning, test case development, test execution, test automation, and test reporting for GEOINT quality concerns in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience designing, executing, and reporting results of GEOINT quality and functional tests, including issue capture and adaptation of test strategies.
• Experience supporting test automation, test-driven development, and procedural improvements.
• Experience with NSG TCPED processes, workflows, and architecture.
• Experience leading teams to develop successful verification and test strategies for complex programs.
• Experience designing and applying manual test cases and automation scripts for GEOINT quality risks.
• Experience supporting automation strategies for modernizing GEOINT quality test missions.
• Experience with cloud development processes.
