Responsibilities
- Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures.
- Prepare accurate driver’s reports daily.
- Conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures, and document findings on driver reports clearly and concisely.
- Test drive vehicles in a wide range of conditions including engine and transmission, durability, vehicle noise, vibration, and brake testing.
- Perform other related driving/vehicle preparation work such as shuttling, detailing, etc.
- Assist with garage work or other jobs as required.
- Follow all Stellantis policies and procedures.
- Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Drivers will drive or ride inside vehicles, so applicants must be okay sitting for most of the time.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Pay
The pay rate for this role starts at $19 per hour based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
