Test Center Manager (Philadelphia, PA)

We are now hiring for a regular full-time Test Center Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, PA (1800 John F Kennedy (JFK) Blvd). You will utilize your communication and customer skills with external customers while also working to select new Test Administrators, provide job coaching, and fair performance appraisals to current employees.
Schedule Requirements
- Availability to work a variety of shifts any day from Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:30 PM, with about 2-3 Saturdays per month
- Must be open to flexible scheduling
- Strictly full-time position, 35 to 40 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed
- Must be available to assist local sites as needed and to address operational problems when not at the test center
Responsibilities
Test Administrator responsibilities (60% of daily tasks):
- Performs on-time site opening and closing procedures
- Understands all testing procedures
- Checks in examinees, verifies identification and explains the exam process
- Monitors examinees while testing
- Maintains a secure testing environment
- Communicates with internal technical support to investigate and fix technical issues
- Strictly adheres to company policies using careful judgment
- Responsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center with light housekeeping duties
- Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts
Test Center Manager responsibilities (40% of daily tasks):
- Onsite manager of a small team of Test Administrator employees
- Site staffing, hiring, retention, conflict resolution, and scheduling
- Trains, develops, and coaches staff
- First contact for facility issues
- Ability to multi-task
Qualifications
- At least 1-year customer service and supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication, team leading, and training skills, with exposure to a testing environment preferred
- Must be flexible with work hours and days
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows applications, Internet, and email
- Ability to operate a computer, fax, and telephone
- Must maintain focus in quiet environments and hear soft-spoken words
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Able to stand for long periods and escort candidates frequently per shift
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift from a stooped position
- Must see small details at a distance and clearly read names on ID cards and screens
Pay & Benefits
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. This position is benefits eligible effective on your hire date.
