Test Automation Software Engineer

We need a Test Automation Software Engineer to transform the way we execute quality assurance. You’ll be responsible for understanding system functionality and test cases in-depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability. You’ll analyze existing test automation software against the latest industry advancements in technology to design and recommend new solutions. You’ll determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in testing. Responsibilities

• Understand system functionality and test cases in-depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability
• Analyze existing test automation software against the latest industry advancements in technology to design and recommend new solutions
• Determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in testing
• Operationalize automation across a team of developers, manual testers, and automated testers

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with test frameworks, including Selenium or Playwright, and test automation in CI/CD, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• 2+ years of experience fielding production systems on web application development teams
• 2+ years of experience with programming, including Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, and C# or .NET
• 2+ years of experience with Agile development tools, including Git, Jira, or Wikis
• Experience with software engineering and quality assurance of complex web applications
• Experience with web-based user interfaces, REST APIs, and databases

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role.

Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
