Day To Day
- Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
Supports Activities
- Plans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Designs, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies
- Captures and analyzes data from tests
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification
- Supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout and post test tear-down
- Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
- Minimum of 3+ years working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience
- Minimum of 3+ years experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
- Minimum of 3+ years experience maintaining computer hardware
- Minimum of 3+ years experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
- Minimum of 3+ years experience working with Mil-Spec connector termination
- Minimum of 3+ years experience working with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
Qualifications
- An Active US Secret Clearance
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate Range: 24.9 - 29.6 USD hourly
