About the role
As a Test Analyst III, you will step into a lead role in test automation, performance testing, and end-to-end quality management for complex enterprise applications. You will drive test strategy, lead automation framework development, and optimize testing pipelines for enterprise applications. You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, defect-free software deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites to streamline release cycles.
- Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools to validate integrations.
- Optimize CI/CD pipeline testing to support DevOps and continuous deployment strategies.
- Work with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools to improve test efficiency.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers to implement shift-left testing strategies for early defect detection.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for improving software quality.
- Serve as a testing SME (Subject Matter Expert) on enterprise development teams.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools).
- Strong experience in API testing, RESTful service validation, and microservices testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation testing.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline testing and DevOps automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze test failures using logs, debugging tools, and performance metrics.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, qTest, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and test-driven development (TDD/BDD).
- Advanced test automation skills with experience developing scalable test architectures.
- Expertise in performance testing, load balancing, and stress testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of containerized testing environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in AI-driven testing strategies and predictive defect analysis.
- Ability to define enterprise-wide QA strategies and work with senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Coupa or enterprise procurement software testing experience is a plus.
