Test Administrator (White Plains, NY)

Pearson VUE is a business of Pearson, the world's leading learning company. This is a part-time Test Administrator position based in White Plains, NY (Knollwood Dr.).

Responsibilities

• Provide a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment.
• Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment.
• Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor/invigilate candidates while testing.
• Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
• Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Requirements

• Availability to work a variety of shifts any day—Monday through Saturday—between 7:00 AM and 8:30 PM.
• Work about 3–4 Saturdays per month; Sunday shifts are infrequent but possible if needed.
• Open to flexible scheduling.
• Part-time position (8–16 hours per week) with potential for additional hours as needed.
• Schedules are available at least 2 weeks in advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred.
• Flexibility in work hours and days.
• Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to sit for long periods and escort candidates to and from the testing room.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable in a quiet testing environment; able to hear soft voices and see details from a distance.

Starting pay is $17.75 per hour plus eligibility for accrued paid sick time.
