The Friendship School is seeking a Full-Time TESOL Teacher to join our team. This role is more than just teaching; it’s about shaping the educational experiences of multilingual learners during critical years of language development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction that supports English language development and academic growth.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure multilingual learners have equitable access to high-quality instruction.
• Use student data to monitor progress and inform instructional decisions.
• Coach and support educators in implementing effective practices for multilingual learners.
• Partner with families to build strong home-school connections.
• Foster a school culture that values multilingualism, diversity, and belonging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Connecticut Certification 111 - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) PK-12 required.
