Overview

Auburn Advancementis excited to begin the search for a TES Donor Relations Stewardship Coordinator. The individual in this position will represent Auburn University and will provide direct support in the Donor Relations Department of Auburn Advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing acknowledgement letters for the Senior Vice President of Advancement and the President of the university (25%)
  • Preparing tribute notifications for gifts made in honor or in memory of an individual (25%)
  • Assisting with special impact reporting (20%)
  • Maintaining donor records with a high level of confidentiality (10%)
  • Assisting with planning and executing recognition and stewardship records, materials and events (10%)
  • Maintains budget and prepares vouchers and statements for reconciliation (10%)
  • Participating in other special projects, which may include gift agreement related projects, donor societies, marketing functions or document templates for the unit and partner units (10%)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus 1 year of work experience in public relations work and general office operations OR Master’s degree
  • Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
    • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of public relations work is required.
    • Candidates should have work experience that required them to exercise independent judgment and discretion to deal with routine to moderately complex administrative matters.
    • Candidates should possess the ability to deal creatively, confidently and professionally with a wide variety of individual donors;
    • and have the ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, written communication skills, intermediate/advanced computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.
