Responsibilities
- Utilize square footage calculations to develop accurate quotes
- Engage with lead suppliers and respond to inbound requests
- Build relationships with smaller customers to drive sales
- Conduct research to identify potential shows and events for business development
- Collaborate with management to approve travel and expenses
- Target general contractors, suppliers, and architects in the territory
- Manage a diverse range of projects, including industrial and commercial buildings
- Develop a strategy for new client acquisition while maintaining ownership of existing clients
Requirements
- Experience in construction, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in estimating square footage and discussing project details
- Able to train others on sales techniques and product knowledge
