Territory Sales Representative
About the role
We are seeking a driven Territory Sales Representative to support company expansion into the Phoenix, AZ territory by selling commercial HVAC service and preventive maintenance agreements. This is a hunter role focused on generating new business through targeted outreach to building owners, property managers, and business leaders.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of outside B2B sales experience and comes from a service-based sales environment such as preventative maintenance agreements, uniforms, pest control, facilities services, or construction services. While the role requires strong self-generated prospecting, you’ll be supported with qualified leads, structured onboarding, HVAC training, and HubSpot CRM to help build a strong pipeline and long-term customer relationships.

- Base salary: $75,000 – $105,000 + uncapped commission (% of sales)

Key Responsibilities
- Possess strong self-starter skills and the ability to work independently in a territory
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities across the Phoenix, AZ commercial market
- Sell commercial HVAC preventive maintenance and service agreements to building owners, facility managers, property managers, and executives
- Generate new opportunities through cold calling, door knocking, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Conduct site visits and consult with clients on long-term HVAC maintenance solutions
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM
- Deliver professional presentations and proposals to decision-makers
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Collaborate with internal service and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to support renewals and long-term partnerships
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience (hunter role)
- Background in service-based sales strongly preferred, including industries such as:
- Uniform services
- Pest control
- Commercial cleaning
- Waste management
- Construction services
- Facilities or building services
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
- Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and territory development
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
