About the Role

Sika Corporation is looking to hire a Territory Sales Rep to join its growing team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for its insulation business. The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) will develop and execute sales plans to exceed sales goals and objectives within assigned territory. They will identify and build relationships with architects, distributors, and general contractors. They will also develop and implement specific sales action plans for selected accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to exceed sales goals and objectives within assigned territory.
  • Identify and build relationships with architects, distributors, and general contractors.
  • Develop and implement specific sales action plans for selected accounts.
  • Call on end-users, contractors, builders, architects/specifiers, owners and installers creating a “pull-through” demand, subsequently working with distribution customers to close related sales.
  • Create and identify new market opportunities.
  • Identify and call on top builders in the region to specify Rmax/Insulation solutions for commercial use.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree, BA/BS Preferred, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of sales or related experience in the building materials industry.
  • Well-developed inter-personal, communication, presentation, negotiating, organization and listening skills.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm - customer-driven entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% within assigned territory (may vary).
  • Computer proficient.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications
