Territory Sales Representative

Join Mustang Rental Services, a division of Mustang Cat, as a Rental Territory Sales Representative to grow equipment rental sales across Southeast Texas.

About the role

This role focuses on providing equipment rental solutions for construction, industrial, and municipal customers using a fleet of Caterpillar and allied equipment. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will grow rental business within your assigned Southeast Texas territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand equipment rental sales
• Prospect and build relationships with construction contractors, industrial facilities, and municipalities
• Visit job sites to recommend equipment solutions for customer projects
• Prepare rental quotes and proposals
• Maintain strong relationships through excellent customer service
• Promote rental equipment including:
  • Aerial lifts
  • Generators
  • Air compressors
  • Light towers
  • Construction equipment
  • Caterpillar equipment
• Meet and exceed territory sales goals

Requirements

• Experience in outside sales, territory sales, or equipment rental sales
• Strong customer relationship and sales skills
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technical field, or similar
• Equivalent experience may be considered

Preferred

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience with construction equipment or heavy equipment
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, or municipal customers
