We are searching for our next Territory Partner who will serve as an Independent Business Owner contracted to represent Trupanion within the Charleston, WV market. This is not a franchise or brokerage—there are no franchise fees, and this business does not require a brick-and-mortar operation.

Pet owners in the U.S. and Canada collectively own approximately 180 million dogs and cats, yet less than 3% have medical coverage for their pets. Responsibilities

A Trupanion Territory Partner serves as a consultant and the exclusive representative for our pet health insurance product in the Charleston market. You will:

• Build relationships and educate veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about Trupanion’s benefits for their practice and clients.
• Increase the number of hospitals that actively introduce Trupanion to pet owners.
• Dedicate at least 40 hours a week to building your business.
• Conduct "lunch and learn" sessions and other marketing activities to promote Trupanion.

Requirements

• Reside in the Charleston, WV area.
• Be available to dedicate at least 40 hours a week to building your business.
• Obtain or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license in your state of residence.
• Background in sales, business ownership, and/or the veterinary industry is preferred but not required.

Start-Up Costs

As a business owner, your expected costs will include:

• Time and travel expenses.
• Food and refreshments for hospital "lunch and learn" sessions.
• Additional marketing materials (optional).

You can expect to invest approximately $1,000 per month in the first year as you get started.

Compensation

Our model directly compensates you for the work you put in, offering long-term passive income potential:

• $10 commission for each new policy activated in your exclusive region.
• Monthly residual income for all active policies in your region, with an average policy lifespan of over 73 months.
• Uncapped income potential through residual earnings.
