About the role
The Territory Sales Manager at Index Engines will interact directly with existing partner sales and technical representatives as well as prospective and existing customers. They will support the successful sale of CyberSense through OEM partners, ensure existing customers' needs are met, license renewals are handled, and opportunities for growth are addressed. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and supporting new partners and customers as new OEMs are introduced.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the region’s quarterly revenue goal.
- Support OEM and channel partner-led sales calls.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Index Engines product and OEM offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional OEM and channel partners.
- Deliver training and relevant messaging to OEM and channel partner sales teams.
- Attend events, customer and partner meetings in person or remotely, as needed.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree.
- Currently located on the West Coast.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven success in software sales.
- Prior Storage, Data Protection, or Security experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ success building relationships and selling with OEM or channel partners.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and time management capabilities.
