Responsibilities
- Lead sales activities within assigned territory
- Develop a sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Conduct product demonstrations
- Manage accounts across research facilities, hospitals, and universities
- Build and strengthen customer relationships
- Maintain an active CRM system to track opportunities
- Develop new business and troubleshoot customer issues
- Perform installations and provide user training
- Utilize consultative selling to address objections and negotiate sales
- Collaborate with internal teams to share information
- Liaise with R&D to explore applications and market opportunities
- Contribute to company growth by attending conferences and exhibitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Life Sciences
- 2-5 years of capital scientific equipment sales experience
- Experience in selling to hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, specifically in NGS and oncology
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills
- Proficient in molecular biology and proteomics knowledge
- Skilled in product demonstrations, installations, and training
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Pay
$125,000 – $145,000 annually
