Responsibilities
- Monitor local market pricing and report weekly
- Call on assigned accounts at least once every week, two weeks or monthly and maintain reports on all sales engagements and submit to manager
- Target new potential customers for parts, service and truck sales
- Initiate surveys, share results with department managers to improve customer happiness
- Maintain company vehicle as required and keep vehicle clean at all times
- Assist in maintaining the parts department inventory
- Deliver parts to customer in accordance with purchases when needed
- Use of call logs to keep track of daily visits with customer information
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
- Experience with truck parts inventory
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of heavy duty/medium duty truck inventory
- Good written and oral communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Strong listening skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
