Territory Sales Manager

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) plays a crucial role in MaxLiner's success. They are responsible for building lasting relationships, executing sales initiatives, and delivering cost-effective trenchless infrastructure solutions within a specific region.

Responsibilities

  • Leads all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for assigned accounts within territory
  • Bridges core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customer
  • Conducts meetings to present company mission and offerings to decision makers
  • Understands, assesses, and anticipates customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Acquires new customers to maximize supply center revenue
  • Negotiates contracts, proposals, and terms
  • Strategically manages through feedback from customers and market
  • Works closely with supply center and corporate resources to enter and fulfill orders

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand basic technical aspects of construction
  • Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling
  • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience (preferably in related field)
  • Knowledge of the industry or related field is a plus

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of construction-related technical aspects
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel frequently

Pay

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Schedule

Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and may include shift work, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
