Territory Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Use Salesforce to plan, visit, track and document dairy and veterinary visits, support cases, events, etc.
- Listen and learn about our customers/prospects needs to build strong relationships
- Partner with Enterprise sales teams and product management teams to share prospects and leads
- Demo and show all new developments on the VAS Platform during client visits
- Attend sales meetings and conduct roundtable and Enterprise meetings to include: Venue partnerships, meeting content creation, speaker coordination, attendee outreach and promotion
- Attend industry events in your territory to network with customers and learn what is new in the industry
- Work with universities in your territory to encourage the use of our internal learning tool, DCTeach
Requirements
- Previous dairy experience-personal or professional
- A sales mentality; this is a blend of hunting and farming
- Experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience is beneficial but we are open to growing potential
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce is highly beneficial
- Excited about presenting to large groups of people clients/prospects
- Multitasking skills and capable of meeting deadlines
- Ambitious, self-directed and motivated to succeed
About the Role
We have a unique Territory Sales/Account Management (Farm Performance Consultant) role in which you will be the face of the VAS brand within the market and are vital to achieving the needs & goals of our customers. You should have a keen ability to build relationships in every interaction, whether via phone, email, market events or stepping foot on the dairy. This role will span across Central/Northern California and provides you the opportunity to plan out your work week as you see fit, has a perfect mix of new business acquisition and existing customer management and encompasses a diverse portfolio of offerings to help our future and existing clients maximize their herd management data to its fullest potential!
Qualifications
