Job Description
The Territory Sales Manager will proactively prospect long-term, profitable relationships and manage sales objectives at the territory level. The manager is responsible for achieving the revenue and net profit objectives as agreed upon with his/her supervisor.
- Understand and implement the Colorbiotics Selling System, focusing on identifying and satisfying customer needs.
- Conduct a Customer Needs Assessment and provide technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sales and service agreements.
- Maintain customer records, using automated systems and Sales Force.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
- Responsible for collecting AR and managing territory P&L Budget.
- Conduct Yearly Reviews with customers to anticipate needs.
- Maintain and grow the customer base.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Business, Agriculture Studies, Marketing, or other relevant business degree.
- Required Work Experience: At least 5 years business or business outside sales experience.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook, internet application) etc.
- Required Skills or traits for the position: Consultative selling skills, Strategic business planning, Key account management, Mechanically inclined
