About the role

Join Swedish Match North America LLC, a leading producer of smokeless tobacco products, in the Clarksburg, WV, and surrounding areas. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will manage sales and operational functions, sell and service Swedish Match's products, and handle administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Selling and servicing Swedish Match's products in retail stores in assigned geography.
  • Gaining new item distribution, promotion execution, and merchandising products.
  • Ensuring freshness on all products in all assigned stores.
  • Utilizing data to develop fact-based presentations for customers and following the call process.
  • Handling all administrative aspects of the job, including expenses and point of sale materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or directly related work experience in non-durable consumer goods sales.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Critical thinking, demonstrating the ability to think and act in selling situations.
  • Analytical skills, able to analyze data and develop a sales plan.
  • Planning skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritize activities to achieve results.
  • Microsoft Office and business math skills.
  • Licensed to work in the U.S.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, reach, conduct overhead work, and carry bags and boxes as part of the sales activities (up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis; up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis; possibly up to 50 pounds on a seldom basis).

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Live within the geographical assignment.

Skills

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, conduct overhead work, and carry bags and boxes as part of the sales activities (up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis; up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis; possibly up to 50 pounds on a seldom basis).
