About the role
The Territory Sales Manager will work within a defined territory to grow market acceptance of Hydra-Stop technology. This involves educating, training, and supporting municipalities and service provider networks. The role requires direct sales activities such as generating specifications, presenting, quoting, negotiating, lead generation, and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed individual revenue threshold
- Develop, train, manage, and support equipment owner and service provider network
- Build new business/client relationships through cold call meetings and strategy development
- Join and participate in local industry associations
- Use conceptual selling and closing activities within target accounts and markets
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of sales activities and schedules
- Manage accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and projects using company CRM
- Execute company’s strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or water-related field preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
- Water industry experience preferred with sales exposure to contractors and municipalities
- Ability to successfully negotiate and close deals
- Ability to successfully generate specifications
- Good organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent opportunities with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Exceptional listening skills are essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with CRM software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay
The anticipated total compensation range for this full-time position is from $92,200 - $171,100 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
