Territory Sales Manager
About the Role
Fluidra is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover the New England territory. The role involves driving sales of all products, programs, and services to existing customers while developing new business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Call on and sell products, programs, and services to national accounts, pool builders, retail accounts, OEMs, sales managers, salespeople, plumbers, and electricians.
- Attend trade shows and tabletops (National, Regional, Local, NSPI).
- Maintain Salesforce database of Fluidra customers.
- Submit paperwork on a timely basis (expense reports, monthly reports).
- Sell programs and services in a positive and professional manner to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales demand to pull Zodiac products through territory distribution.
- Represent the Fluidra Sales Department for specific or unusual accounts (e.g., Anthony & Sylvan, Premier, Blue Haven, OEMs, Carecraft, UAG, Leslie’s).
- Collaborate with management to communicate any changes affecting the territory.
- Send literature via fax or mail upon request and complete required forms for shipping or marketing.
- Increase sales on a regular basis.
- Compile lists of prospective customers in Salesforce using business directories and trade show leads.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to engage with regular and prospective customers.
- Display or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs, emphasizing key features.
- Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
- Estimate delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain an expense account.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong communication skills to present effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Problem-solving skills for situations involving several concrete variables.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel by plane and automobile.

Pay
Expected salary range is $85,000 - $100,000 plus variable commission bonus.
